What — and who — we’re made of

Where you'll learn.

Wilderness surrounds Fairbanks, yet highways, airlines, fiber and satellites firmly connect it to the world. So you can attend and earn your degree online from anywhere.

In Fairbanks, you’ll find the Troth Yeddha’ Campus, the ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Community and Technical College and the Interior ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Campus. Beyond, regional campuses serve Kotzebue, Bethel, Nome and Dillingham. Research sites can take you to Kodiak in the south, Juneau in the east and Toolik Lake above the Arctic Circle.

    In a hands-on workshop led by the ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Harvest Collaborative, learn how to turn kitchen scraps and garden waste into rich, nutrient-packed soil that will help your garden thrive. Garden manager Mallory Smith will teach the essentials of composting -- from the basics of balancing green and brown materials to creating and mixing the perfect compost pile.
