Energy in the North on internship and human behavior

Jeremy Kasper and Okwuchukwu Chukwu are featured guests on “Energy in the North” in August.
The “Energy in the North” episode on Aug. 5 will feature Ӱ Center for Energy and Power director Jeremy Kasper on the influx of ACEP summer interns.
On Aug. 12, Okwuchukwu Chukwu will discuss human behavior and electricity use. She grew up in
Nigeria, using a pre-paid electric system. She will share her research on how people
behave when they do or do not know immediately how much electricity they are using.
“Energy in the North” explores the importance and opportunities that energy and power
provide to Ӱ and its people.
The series airs every Wednesday, broadcast on and , around 7:45 a.m., 8:45 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. Ӱ time.
