New summer fellowship for science teachers

ACEP is offering a new summer research fellowship for middle and high school science teachers in ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ.

Funded by the Murdock Charitable Trust, the Murdock Partners in Science program will pair middle and high school science teachers with University of ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ mentor researchers for two consecutive summers of paid research. The 2026-2027 inaugural cohort will have positions in Anchorage and Unalaska.

In-service and pre-service science teachers as well as educators curious about energy, climate, engineering and ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ-based research are encouraged to apply.
