ACEP’s Research in a Nutshell
What does ACEP do exactly? We get that question a lot. To help answer it, we asked ACEP researchers to tell us, in a nutshell, about their research and why it is important to Ӱ and beyond.
This idea came from ACEP student researcher Grace Bolt. It allows our researchers to share their activities and the importance of their work in a way that doesn’t require the viewer to struggle through a scientific publication.
“I wanted a way to communicate the important but complex research that ACEP conducts every day,” Bolt said.
In our first feature, Jeremy VanderMeer talks about helping to create an open-source computer model to investigate energy storage. .
These one-minute videos, edited by ACEP’s chief storyteller Amanda Byrd, present the information in understandable language from real human beings. No jargon. No technical data. Just the research highlights — in a nutshell.
“The work ACEP does every day leads to a better, more sustainable future; these videos document their accomplishments in a way that is easy to understand,” Bolt added.
We will continue to add research stories to this collection, so keep visiting and find out what we are doing at ACEP!
