The Harper Building was home to ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ's former Interior ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Campus, whose programs for rural Interior ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ were absorbed by the ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Community and Technical College in mid-2025. The university announced on Oct. 1, 2025, that it planned to lease out the building.

The building is named after Flora Jane Harper, who in 1935 became the first ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Native woman to graduate from the ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Agricultural College and School of Mines.

Access is off Fairbanks Street and Draanjik Drive. The Geist Road entrance was closed in 2018.
