In serving the community of Nome and the Bering Strait region, Mitch Erickson enthusiastically
fills several roles at Northwest Campus, and he often goes out of his way to get the
job done.

the 2022 National TRIO Day celebration on Feb. 24 from noon-2 p.m. at the Wood Center

Deadlines and reminders
The University of ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Fairbanks College of Engineering and Mines will host the
ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Engineering Open House from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Feb. 26.
The College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences will hold its next weekly seminar on Wednesday,
Feb. 23 from 3:30-4:30 p.m. via Zoom. The talk will be offered by Anne Salomon.
The ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Climate Scholars Program is calling for campus-wide representatives to attend
and participate in a ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Climate Summit gathering on March 23 from 1-4 p.m. in the
Wood Center Ballroom.
