Since 2016, the Biomedical Learning and Student Training program at ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ has highlighted
scientists from all biomedical fields through Scientist of the Month articles. Paul
Larson, who is of Yup’ik descent, is a senior pursuing a bachelor of science degree
in wildlife biology and conservation.

Deadlines and reminders
The Elmer E. Rasmuson Library will host a virtual presentation, "Fake News, Misinformation
and Media Manipulation," with journalist, author and expert Craig Silverman. The event
will be on Thursday, March 24 at 1 p.m. via Zoom.
Staff Council and the University Advocacy Committee are hard at work planning Staff
Recognition and Development Day, which will be on May 5.
