A University of ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Fairbanks postdoctoral researcher has helped NASA better understand
two of the possible landing sites for the space agency's Artemis program to land humans
at the moon's south pole and establish a sustainable base camp there.
The Fairbanks North Star Borough School District is expanding its North Star College
program, an ongoing partnership with the University of ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Fairbanks that allows
students to take college courses at ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ while still in high school. The Board of Education approved the move on Oct. 18, completing the board’s original
vision for the middle college program.
