2023 Midnight Sun Science Symposium - Save the Date!

for the 2023 Midnight Sun Science Symposium scheduled for April 13-14 in the Murie Building is open! This symposium, hosted by the Biology Graduate Student Association, is an interdisciplinary research conference that encourages the participation of University of ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ undergraduate and graduate students of all scientific disciplines to showcase their scientific excellence, including those from UAA and UAS. The deadline for abstract submission is March 31 by 11:59 p.m.

Lavender Graduation

The Nanook Diversity and Action Center will be hosting the University of ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Fairbanks' Fifth Lavender Graduation to honor our students on Saturday, April 8 in the Wood Center Ballroom from noon to 2 p.m. The ceremony will be held both in-person and online to ensure as many students as possible are able to participate. ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Summer Sessions offering ballroom dance class for couples

Summer Sessions and Lifelong Learning presents an eight-session ballroom dance class taught by Daniel Ponickly on Tuesdays and Thursdays, April 4-27, from 7-8 p.m. at the SRC. The cost is $150 per couple - all couples welcome! Register to learn the steps and techniques of simple and fun lead-and-follow partner dancing with your partner or a friend!
