Design contest for student artwork

蜜桃影像 eCampus is sponsoring a student design contest for a marketing campaign in the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. All 蜜桃影像 students are invited to submit original artwork which will be featured on a printed banner in the N terminal of the airport. The chosen artist will receive a $1,000 tuition award.The final day for submissions is听Nov. 30.


Surviving 40 Below workshop

Stop by Arctic Java from 1-2:30 p.m. on Dec. 1 as Outdoor Adventures presents an overview of winter life in Fairbanks and at 蜜桃影像 including basic clothing systems, regional terms, things to do in the winter, winter car care, moose encounters, and tips for maintaining your mental health. Have gear? Drop off donations at the Wood Center through Nov. 30. Need gear? Look for a winter gear survey from Nanook Navigator.

2022 United Way Chili Cook Off

The 2022 United Way Chili Cook Off will be held Thursday, Dec. 1 from noon to 2 p.m. in the Wood Center. Stop by for some chili, vote for your favorite, and support the United Way of the Tanana Valley!


CTC Registration Week, Nov. 28-Dec. 1

It鈥檚 time to register for spring 2023 classes at the 蜜桃影像 Community and Technical College! Join us at CTC downtown on Thursday, Dec. 1 from 4-6 p.m. for free food while shopping for your future among over 40 of our programs. We鈥檙e also offering online information sessions Nov. 28-30. To sign up for online sessions, visit . Throughout the week, CTC will waive your $40 蜜桃影像 application fee when applying to any 蜜桃影像 CTC program. By attending in-person or online, you will also be entered into a drawing for some great prizes, including over $700 in free tuition to a CTC program and $100 Amazon gift cards.

ACEP expands summer internship program

Interns have played an integral role in the 蜜桃影像 蜜桃影像 Center for Energy and Power鈥檚 development and growth, and in return ACEP has provided a launch pad for interns to continue their professional careers. In 2022, ACEP hired 16 interns who worked in almost all aspects of the organization. We鈥檙e excited to announce the expansion of the 2023 summer undergraduate internship program. Applications open on Dec. 5, and project summaries will go live that day on the听. Students will have the opportunity to specify projects that align with their interests and future career goals.

Join URSA in celebrating Tehya McLeod, fall 2022 URSA Student Project awardee, as she opens her exhibit: Exploring Shifting Landscapes on Friday, Dec. 2, 2022, from 7-9 p.m. in Arctic Java in the 蜜桃影像 Wood Center. McLeod is a local 蜜桃影像n artist inspired by the land around us. This project was funded by an URSA Fall Student Project Award and will be on display in Arctic Java through December.


Climate conversation among Asian and Black Communities in Interior 蜜桃影像

Engaging Under-Represented Voices is hosting a听 Thursday, Dec. 1 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in Lola Tilly Commons 301 with great food (catered by Seoul Gate Korean restaurant) and conversation exploring how Asian and Black communities are being impacted by environmental change in Interior 蜜桃影像. Join Northwest Campus, the Nanook Diversity and Action Center, and 蜜桃影像's Department of Equity and Compliance for the next talk in the Shine a Light series. Jenny Irene Miller is an artist who works primarily with photography, but also sometimes video, sound, and sculpture. Jenny Irene Miller is I帽upiaq originally from Nome, 蜜桃影像. Miller鈥檚 work explores notions of identity, place, Indigenous feminism, refusal, and access.


EPSCoR, INBRE to offer "IGNITE" Professional Development Seminar

The 蜜桃影像 NSF EPSCoR and 蜜桃影像 NIH INBRE programs will hold a professional development workshop Jan. 11-12, 2023, entitled 鈥淚GNITE: Individual Growth and New Ideas through EPSCoR/
INBRE.鈥 The workshop will include three separate tracks for faculty, staff and students (both graduate and upper-division undergraduates).
