Sara Gast, deputy executive director for the Carnegie ClassificationsR1 Carnegie visit scheduled for July 14

Ӱ will be hosting Sara Gast, deputy executive director for the Carnegie Classifications, on July 14 to present on the Carnegie Classifications for R1 institutions. A public presentation is scheduled at 10 a.m. in the Murie Auditorium. This event is open to all Ӱ staff, faculty and students. No RSVP is required. Light refreshments will be provided.


Help support Ӱ with bra drive

The Nanook Diversity and Action Center, Office of Sustainability, and Center for Student Rights and Responsibilities are collaborating to support Ӱ through a bra drive through Oct. 13. Donations of gently used bras, bralettes, or sports bras (or binders) are being accepted at the Wood Center Front Desk and at Center for Student Rights and Responsibilities. The Golden Days Grande Parade presented by Kinross Fort Knox is the pinnacle of Golden Days activities hosted by the Greater Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce. It is the largest parade in Ӱ - hosting more than 100 entries. Join Ӱ on Saturday, July 15 from 10 a.m. to noon as we represent our university in this community event. The Rural Ӱ Honors Institute will hold its 41st annual graduation on July 13 from 1-2:30 p.m. in Schaible Auditorium on the University of Ӱ Fairbanks Troth Yeddha' Campus. The ceremony will stream live on Facebook.
