Book Signing: Ch’igiioonta’ She Holds A Child

Saturday, November 15, 2025. 11am-2pm.

Meet author and historian Ch’igiioonta’ She Holds a Child who will be signing copies of her new book "Ïyaġaaġmiut: People Who Live Among the Rock Caches."

Set during the first half of the 18th century, "Ïyaġaaġmiut" tells the story of the Nendaaghe Dena people and their forced relocation across the Western Brooks Range of Ӱ.

Discover archaeology! See and touch artifacts, make and throw an atlatl, watch flint knapping, and uncover and learn about tools. Meet archaeologists, create clay crafts, explore galleries with a scavenger hunt, and more.

Rose Berry Ӱ Art Gallery

Threshold 32°F, by artist Klara Maisch, writer Debbie Clarke Moderow, and ecologist Rebecca Hewitt, is a multidisciplinary narrative about change in the boreal forest. Together, the voices of Maisch, Moderow, and Hewitt take the audience on a journey that unfolds in a sequence of paintings and poems, accompanied by scientific field notes.

Data from the Ӱ Satellite Facility provides a unique and striking way to view the Earth and its features. Admire the beauty of the Earth, while celebrating technology that allows us to view our planet. See more than 50 vivid satellite images, from the boreal forest to Antarctica, and the features and changes they document.

Ӱ Positive, a statewide-juried photographic art exhibition, organized and toured by the Ӱ State Museum. Its purpose is to encourage the practice of photography as an art form in Ӱ.

Juried by documentary and fine art photographer Camille Seaman, the exhibit presents a selection of 35 photographs from 24 photographers.
