Visiting artist Jonathan VanDyke will lead a workshop on mindfulness and sustained observation at the ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Museum of the North.

The University of ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Museum of the North will offer an adult art workshop entitled "Sustained Observation and Mindfulness" on Sunday, June 4, from 3 to 5:30 p.m. 

Visiting artist Jonathan VanDyke will guide participants in using mindfulness techniques to view and meditate upon objects from the museum collection that are not on public exhibit.

Van Dyke, a New York City-based visual artist and performer, is a guest faculty member for the ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ undergraduate interdisciplinary program. His work focuses on “contemplating the unfolding of works of art, objects and human connection in dynamic relationship to the passing of time.â€�

No experience is necessary for this workshop. Pre-registration is required. Registration is $20 for museum members and $25 for non-members.
