Brinkman named Faculty Fellow for Research

Todd Brinkman has been appointed as Faculty Fellow for Research in the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research. In this role, Brinkman will split his time between faculty duties and directing the ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Animal Resources Center, which includes co-administering the Large Animal Research Station (LARS) and the Biological Research and Diagnostics Facility (BiRD) alongside newly appointed Attending Veterinarian Nina Hansen.
Brinkman is currently a professor of Wildlife Ecology, with a joint appointment in the Institute of Arctic Biology and the College of Natural Science and Mathematics. He earned his Ph.D. in 2009 from ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ. After completing a postdoctoral fellowship at ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ, Brinkman transitioned into a faculty position at ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ in 2011. Brinkman's professional career has focused on large mammal ecology and the human dimensions of wildlife science, which aligns well with his new role.
