The NOAA’s Marine Debris Program, the University of ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Fairbanks, and ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Sea Grant announced $1.2 million in federal funding for seven marine debris removal projects under the 2024 Community Marine Debris Removal Grant Program. These projects will remove debris, provide community education, and benefit ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ’s coastal habitats, communities, and economies.
