Full-day summer camps with openings

ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Summer Sessions still has openings in several of its full-day summer camps in July and August.
Olympus Demigod Reading Camp Book 1, July 14-18, and Book 2, July 21-25, are for campers entering grades 6-8. These camps are live-action role-playing adventures where campers bring Percy Jackson's books to life. There will be sword fighting, monsters to conquer, and quests to complete. Rock Band Camp, for students entering grades 6-12, takes place August 4-8. Come to Rock Band Camp and learn the basics of being in a rock band. In this one-week camp, learn to play your first three rock songs on guitar, bass, keyboard, drums, or any other instrument you bring in! We will write songs and study beginning music theory and rock history. We will work together to create an epic rock show! The week will culminate with a live performance for friends and family. No experience is necessary. Carey Seward, a local playwright and musician, will lead our first-ever Rock Band Camp. Yoga Camp for campers entering grades 2-5 takes place July 14-18. There are three spaces left! Yoga Camp is designed to introduce children to the wonderful world of yoga in a playful, supportive, and nurturing environment. Through a blend of fun activities, engaging games, and creative exercises, children will learn the fundamentals of yoga and so much more. In addition to yoga practice, campers will enjoy crafting, coloring, hula-hooping, nature exploration, storytelling, and group activities to enhance their creativity, imagination, and social skills. Our very popular Field Day Camps, July 14-18 and August 4-8, led by Nanook Volleyball, are just about full, but spots will likely open up as summer goes by.
