Starvation Gulch bonfires, events scheduled Saturday

The University of ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Fairbanks will wrap up its Starvation Gulch activities on Saturday, Sept. 13 with bonfires and several other events on campus.

Due to events throughout the day, drivers through campus should expect delays and heavier-than-usual traffic near the Patty Center and Nenana Parking Lot from about 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.

From about 8 p.m. to 11 p.m., nearby residents may hear loud music from the bonfire event.  

Following is a schedule of events in the area:

10 a.m. – 2 p.m. - Bonfire building at Nenana Parking Lot

11 a.m. – 8 p.m. – ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Nanooks food truck rally at the Patty Center (free volleyball game admission with food purchase)

7 p.m. – ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Nanooks vs. Rockhurst University in the Patty Center

9 p.m. – Starvation Gulch bonfire lighting
