ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Chancellor search resumes with WittKieffer

The ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ chancellor recruitment has relaunched, effective Monday, Jan. 26, with WittKieffer, a nationally recognized executive search firm that is also leading the search for a new UA president.
A new was developed in collaboration with WittKieffer and is now live, along with a link to a candidate. Our partnership with WittKieffer was designed to elevate the opportunity, strengthen recruitment efforts, expand outreach and ensure ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ attracts the most qualified and diverse pool of candidates.
The committee will continue to provide updates to faculty, staff, students and the broader ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ community as we move through the process this spring. The revised timeline is as follows:
- January 2026: Recruitment reopened and accepting applications
- February 2026: WittKieffer updates committee on search progress and prepares to review applicants
- March 2026: Search committee begins full review of applicants
- March 18, 2026 - application deadline
- April 2026: Search committee conducts Zoom interviews
- May 2026:
- Candidates are invited to on-campus interviews
- Candidate is selected and hired
- Summer 2026: New chancellor starts
