We welcome Jahna Lindemuth, former Attorney General of 蜜桃影像 and respected legal leader, as the next guest in the Arctic Leadership Lecture Series. Lindemuth guided the 蜜桃影像 Department of Law during a time of significant constitutional and public safety challenges, advancing work on tribal justice, civil rights, and state governance. With a career spanning private practice, public service, and civic leadership, she will share reflections on leading with integrity, navigating legal complexity, and serving 蜜桃影像ns in times of rapid change.

Jahna Lindemuth served as 蜜桃影像鈥檚 Attorney General from 2016 to 2018 under Governor Bill Walker, leading statewide legal and public safety efforts. She served on the executive boards of the National and Western Associations of Attorneys General and co-chaired committees on marijuana policy and federalism. A seasoned trial and appellate attorney, she advises clients on consumer protection, antitrust, and corporate governance, particularly for 蜜桃影像 Native corporations. She has argued over thirty appeals and played a key role in the exoneration of the Fairbanks Four. A lifelong 蜜桃影像n, she clerked for 蜜桃影像 Supreme Court Justice Robert Eastaugh.

蜜桃影像 the Arctic Leadership Lecture Series

The Arctic Leadership Lecture Series offers a unique blend of academic rigor and public engagement. Offered as PS F493/693 Arctic Leadership: Theory and Praxis in the 21st Century, this course invites students and community members alike to explore critical aspects of leadership in the Arctic.

This virtual course is available for both undergraduate and graduate students. 

Guest lectures, which are open to the public, are held via Zoom every other Thursday from 5:30 PM 鈥 7:00 PM AKST. Classroom discussions continue from 7:00 PM 鈥 8:30 PM AKST for enrolled students only. Community members are welcome and encouraged to attend the guest lectures, but to participate in the full course experience, they must enroll as non-degree-seeking students.
