The ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Faculty Senate passed the following at its meeting on 
February 6, 1995.


MOTION PASSED (unanimous approval)

The ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Faculty Senate moves to change the approval process for 
credit overload applications by deleting the section requiring the 
Dean's approval.  Final approval will be granted by the department 
head.

	EFFECTIVE:  	Immediately

	RATIONALE:  	The rationale for this policy change is that 
		such a decision should be that of the student, their 
		advisor, and the department head; where the best 
		information is available.
