AIMES
The 15th Annual AIMES Event will be held on Saturday, October 24th, 2026 in the Margaret Murie Building from 9am-1pm
The ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Interior Medical Education Summit (AIMES) is a free annual event hosted by The College of Natural Science and Mathematics that showcases research, careers, and professional programs in the field of health and medicine. High school and college students will have the opportunity to attend career panels with local health professionals, visit vendors from medical and health programs and universities, and participate in hands-on activities.
ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ offers a wide range of pre-health degree tracks to prepare you for a career in the medical field or furthering your education in health and science.
ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ AIMES
Whether you're interested in becoming a dentist, nurse, medical doctor, or veterinarian
ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ offers the opportunities, degree programs, and courses to prepare you for the
career of your dreams.
Pre-health, like pre-med, is simply the route a student takes in order to enter a health professional field.
So, it’s not a major or an academic track. Your route will involve exploring, preparing, and applying.
AIMES is the event of the year where you can learn about health and medicine educational
pathways while networking with current health professionals and engaging in hands-on
activities.
Meet local health professionals, tour the MRI suite, meet researchers, and learn about all the ways you can pursue a health track at ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ.

At AIMES you will have the opportunity to visit with and learn about programs and
schools like WWAMI (Washington, Wyoming, ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ, Montana, and Idaho partner program
with University of Washington medical school) and the Pacific Northwest University
of Health and Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine.
ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Students are guaranteed an admission interview with Pacific Northwest University's Osteopathic Medicine program.
Other programs in attendance may include ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ X CSU Veterinary Medicine, CTC Paramedicine, CBSM Health Care Graduate Program, Idaho State University Pharmacy Program, UAA Nursing Program, and more.
