Steve Jacobson has devoted his life to three Yupik languages: Central ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñn Yup'ik (CAY), Central Siberian Yupik (CSY), and Naukanski Yupik, a language linguistically quite intermediate between CAY and CSY. Jacobson has published not only grammars but also dictionaries of all three Yupik languages.

Steve Jacobson's new edition of the Central ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Yupik contains at least 11,000 expanded entries.
