ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ students are required to either verify their Bookstore Bundle order and select a delivery preference (in-store pickup or shipped) or choose to opt out. The verification period opened on Dec. 15, 2025, and will close on Jan. 23.

Winter break parking lot closures

Waiver renewal notice for spouses and dependents
December 09, 2025
Spouses, FIP, and dependents of full-time faculty and staff who received a tuition waiver request for fall 2025 will not need to complete a separate request for spring 2026. Spouses, FIP, and dependents of adjunct faculty members will need to complete a waiver.

The Georgeson Botanical Gardens will transform into a winter wonderland this December. Wander through the garden on the University of ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Fairbanks Troth Yeddha' Campus, and experience the magic of Arctic Lights. Thousands of festive lights will illuminate the garden pathways from 5-9 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, between Dec. 18 and Jan. 17.

The ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ chancellor search committee is temporarily pausing its efforts in order to partner with WittKeiffer, a nationally recognized executive search firm that is also leading the search for a new UA president. This strategic step is designed to elevate the opportunity, strengthen recruitment efforts, expand outreach and ensure ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ attracts the most qualified and diverse pool of candidates. As part of the process, WittKiefer will collaborate with the current search committee and build on its work, including assisting with vetting candidates who have already submitted their applications.
