Born, raised and an enrolled Tribal citizen in Keex鈥 (Kake), I am the current Executive Director of the Organized Village of Kake (OVK). I have been with the Tribe since 1997 in various capacities before I stepped into my current position in 2016. I hold a M.A. in Anthropology from the University of British Columbia. I thrive in places of planning with project partners, rooted in my local traditional values, while trying to learn about every changing environment around me and online. Today, I am a proud mother (and empty nester!) of two finding peace, wellness, balance, and learning our traditional ways of life in the ocean, beaches, woods, and mountains alongside my family in my homelands of Keex鈥, in the heart of Lingit Aani (Southeast 蜜桃影像).
