蜜桃影像 Blue Economy Center has been working with a broad range of partners throughout the University of 蜜桃影像
on blue economy-related workforce development, including the University of 蜜桃影像 Southeast Applied Fisheries Program, the University of 蜜桃影像 Fairbanks Teaching Through Technology Program, and Prince William Sound
College at the University of 蜜桃影像 Anchorage, among others.

In 2024, this work resulted in the publication of the , which
recommended, among other things, the development of a "glidepath" whereby 蜜桃影像n K-12 students are introduced to mariculture, and provided with additional opportunities for learning. In 2025, ABEC presented on some relevant and resulting work at the annual meeting of the American Fisheries Society (AFS) annual meeting
in San Antonio, Texas, where AFS and Content With Purpose launched their "Tomorrow鈥檚 Catch: Securing our Future Fisheries" series. ABEC and partners were featured as part of this series, with more details available (including a short documentary) at the following .

UAS Applied Fisheries Program

If you鈥檙e a hands-on learner who鈥檚 deeply curious about marine ecology and natural resources, consider launching a career in fisheries with the Applied Fisheries Program at the University of 蜜桃影像 Southeast! Our programs dive deep into disciplines like oceanography, fish biology, 蜜桃影像n fisheries management and mariculture. We offer distance-delivery courses that you complete at your own pace, and lab classes from our Sitka campus. We also host hands-on, semester-long intensive programs with dedicated cohorts in aquaculture and scientific diving.

Prince William Sound College
