    Anchorage Museum to feature Sikuliaq exhibit

    An upcoming exhibition at the Anchorage Museum will highlight life and work aboard the research vessel Sikuliaq. The interactive experience, “Arctic Marine Science: Sikuliaq to Shore,� opens on May 15 and will continue through April 2027. The exhibition will recreate parts of Sikuliaq in the museum gallery, allowing visitors to experience actual ship-based technology and state-of-the-art science equipment.

    With the extreme weather we have experienced this winter, Facilities Services wants to set the campus up for success come spring. A major component of this effort is removing hard-packed snow. To ensure a safe environment for our equipment operators and to protect community personal vehicles, certain parking lots will be temporarily closed during spring break. Once a lot has been cleared, it will be safe to return vehicles.
